On the night before He was crucified, Jesus washed the feet of His disciples—a powerful act that showed what leadership in God’s Kingdom truly looks like. In John 13:14-15 (NIV), Jesus says, “Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you.”

This wasn’t just about a task—it was a lesson in living with a heart of service. The greatest leaders in the Kingdom are those who serve. As we serve, we reflect Christ’s love and invite others to encounter His heart.

Jesus’ call to serve is not just about meeting practical needs; it’s about advancing God’s Kingdom by helping people encounter the love and grace of Jesus Christ. Mark 10:45 (NIV) reminds us , “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
